VSI is owned and directed by Rev. Dr. Robert R. Gaines Sr., a Vietnam war hero who was shot down 5 times in combat and captured twice during 5 tours of duty and is still alive today continuing to make a difference. VSI’s main goal is to put veterans, ex-offenders and at risk youth to work so that they may sustain themselves economically and spiritually.
